Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy applies to subscription payments made to Shubham Garg (Sole Proprietor), operator of the Apna Store software platform, for access to paid plans (Pro, Business).

Important: two different kinds of payments

Apna Store handles two unrelated types of payments and each has a different policy:

  • 1. SaaS subscriptions — sellers pay us for access to the platform. This policy (below) covers those payments.
  • 2. Buyer purchases on seller storefronts — customers pay individual sellers for goods and services listed on those sellers' stores. Those payments flow directly from the buyer to the seller through UPI, Razorpay, or Cash on Delivery. Apna Store is not a party to those transactions, does not receive those funds, and cannot refund them. For refunds, cancellations, or disputes on a purchase from a storefront, the buyer must contact the individual seller directly. Each seller is responsible for publishing and honouring their own refund and returns policy.

Apna Store subscription refunds

Free trial

Paid plans (Pro, Business) offer a free trial period. You will not be charged during the trial. You can cancel at any time before the trial ends and will not be billed.

Monthly subscriptions

Monthly subscription fees are non-refundable once charged. If you cancel a monthly subscription, your access continues until the end of the current billing cycle, after which no further charges will be made. We do not provide pro-rated refunds for unused days in a monthly billing cycle.

Annual subscriptions

Annual subscription fees may be refunded on a pro-rated basis if you cancel within 14 days of the initial purchase. After 14 days, annual fees are non-refundable. Renewal charges on existing annual subscriptions are non-refundable.

Exceptional refunds

If you were charged in error, charged twice for the same billing period, or experienced a material Service outage that prevented use for more than 72 continuous hours in a billing cycle, contact us within 30 days of the charge. We will review and, at our sole discretion, issue a full or partial refund.

How to cancel

You can cancel your subscription at any time from Dashboard → Settings → Subscription (coming soon) or by emailing us at ShubhamGargCth@gmail.com with your registered email address. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle. Your store and data remain accessible during the paid period and are retained for 90 days after cancellation before deletion.

How to request a refund

Send an email to ShubhamGargCth@gmail.com from the email address on your account, including:

  • Your registered email and store name.
  • The Razorpay payment ID or transaction reference.
  • The date of the charge.
  • A clear reason for the refund request.

We will acknowledge within 2 business days and issue approved refunds within 7 business days to the original payment method. Bank processing may add a further 3–7 days.

No refunds for

  • Accounts suspended or terminated for breach of the Terms of Service.
  • Fees for time periods already elapsed.
  • Usage-based add-ons that have already been consumed (e.g. managed WhatsApp AI relay hours).
  • Any dispute involving a purchase on a seller's storefront — that is a matter strictly between the buyer and the seller.
